FIRE RESTORATION WORK COMPLETED; on, the St. Laurent Housing Project on Bartlett St. and Pierce St., Lewiston, Maine adding much needed tax revenue to Lewiston’s tax base though the occupancy rate is struggling as there are many apartments for rent in Lewiston though the rents are increasing exponentially.

11 Mar

At, the last planning board meeting; I, endorsed the St. Laurent Housing planned project on Bartlett and Pierce Street for the following reasons:

a.  Her tenacity.   (THREE TIMES SHE CAME BACK IN FRONT OF THE LEWISTON, MAINE PLANNING BOARD TO FACILITATE INPUT FOR THE AREA LEWISTON, MAINE NEIGHBORS .)

b.  Height of Buildings; lowered.

c.  Green Spaces; max out.

d.  Density of Population; decreased.

e.  The side of the Bedrooms; increased.

f.   They purchased additional land for parking.  *To be developed as needed.

g.   And, gave-way to the inner city residents concerns.

Ms. St. Laurent is a “Good Neighbor” to Lewiston,  Maine.   And, people could take lessons from her.               ” WELL DONE “

NOTE: I LIVE THREE HOUSES FROM THE PREVIOUS BURNED OUT ST. LAURENT HOUSING PROJECT.
