Maine to get part of a 2.7 billion violation mitigation penalty from Volkswagen of Germany .

23 Jan

The estimated amount of violation monies is in the millions; but, must be use to mitigate and reduce emissions from diesel engines .

Would suggest to Governor of Maine that this money be apportioned to large cities like Portland, Bangor and Lewiston, Maine to facilitate the restoration and repair of the inner city infrastructure roads.

This, I believe; will, facilitate the requirement of the settlement to reduce emissions and will improvement the cities involved employment problems.

Or, could be placed and held to form a Maine infrastructure bank that would facilitate; meaningful, use of this limited mitigated penalty.

President Trump has stated that infrastructure will be a priority in this administration. So, lets remember that only fools rush in; or, was that graft and special interest rush in ?
