A Fire alarm at the voting place and only voting place for the Lewiston, Maine School Budget at Longley School disenfranchised a number of person as a student allegedly pull fire alarm.

According to individuals at the poll and Lewiston, Maine City Head Clerk the polls were closed due to a Fire alarm as Children cleared the building and all ballots were carried from the building.

The fact that the student had to be evacuated from the school facility; and, accounted for as Lewiston Fire Department secured the building ans escorted back into the Longley School was a major inconvenience to voter’s pressed for time and turned a number of Lewiston, Maine voter’s away.

On, another issue no Lewiston, Maine Absentee Ballot were issued to in Military Service personnel and as done in regular Lewiston, Maine elections no assisted living facilities and nursing homes were serviced.
