Men tend to be ashamed to admit to being abused, my husband is an example to that. The other problem is the amount of woman, girls, kids really, who claim violence when there has not been any. Society is quick to believe a young woman standing in front of them crying saying he abused her, and most times it can take months or even years to clear his name and prove she lied but then nothing is done anyway. Example: they have kids, split up and that is what she tells DHHS, now he has to prove it’s a lie and if he does, nothing is done about it .
